Cattie Gonia

Meet CATTIE GONIA!

This tiny floof has already starred in an unlikely David-versus-Goliath story. Rescued before a much larger and better-funded organization could completely overreact to her existence, she was trapped in a Long Beach parking garage and originally slated for TNR, which would have doomed her to a life of dodging cars, scavenging for meals, and generally bearing the consequences of decisions made by much bigger players. Fortunately for her, we had other plans.

Named after the drag performer and environmental activist currently being sued by Patagonia for the apparent crime of having a pun, Cattie shares her namesake’s scrappy determination. She is tiny, fearless, and entirely unimpressed by size disparities, approaching every toy, cat tree, and household object like she’s organizing a campaign against injustice. Colorful, charismatic, and impossible to ignore, she charges headfirst into every adventure, assumes all laps are public accommodations, and carries herself with the confidence of someone who has mistaken being two pounds for being invincible.

And unlike certain multinational corporations, Cattie seems to understand that protecting vulnerable living things is supposed to be the point.

Cattie will be delivered vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, FIV/FeLV tested, spayed, and ideally alongside one of her BFFs (currently Karen Bhiss and Nicole Bichie).
