Update: adoption pending for Jane!
Meet JANE CLAWNDA & LOU FURRIGNO!
Some kittens are found under houses. Some turn up in engines. Jane and Lou were discovered loitering in the parking lot of a gym in Whittier, apparently having taken the term “gym rat” as a literal career path.
Neither had a membership, both were considerably underweight for a proper bulk, and there was absolutely no evidence that either had ever touched a weight. Nevertheless, they were hanging around the premises like two tiny fitness influencers waiting for someone to ask about their macros. We intervened before they could start a podcast.
JANE CLAWNDA: Beautiful, disciplined, and sporting a magnificent brown-tabby blowout that suggests she considers fitness merely one component of a much larger personal brand, Jane takes her namesake seriously. She believes in proper form, adequate recovery, and conserving valuable energy by having humans perform most tasks on her behalf. Her current program combines resistance training against closed doors, repeated climbs to failure, and several aggressive daily sets of getting exactly what she wants.
LOU FURRIGNO: Solid grey, extravagantly fluffy, and built like a very small man who has recently discovered creatine, Lou is committed to getting absolutely shredded. He does not know what this means, but his enthusiasm is considerable. He has been bulking continuously since rescue, considers wrestling Jane a compound movement, and attacks every meal like somebody just yelled, “LIGHTWEIGHT, BABY!” Although the Incredible Hulk comparisons are inevitable, Lou’s transformation is less enormous green rage monster and more slightly larger grey kitten furious that dinner is four minutes late.
Having officially abandoned the gym parking lot, Jane and Lou are now seeking a home where they can pursue a more sustainable fitness regimen: wind sprints through the house at 2 a.m., unauthorized parkour, competitive wrestling, and maintaining inexplicably lean physiques while consuming an absolutely obscene number of calories.
Jane and Lou are vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, FIV/FeLV negative, and spayed/neutered.
