Early life taught her to move carefully and observe closely, for humans were just another variable she wasn’t sure she could trust. With time, consistency, and plenty of patience, though, she learned that indoor life comes with soft beds, full bowls, and people who show up gently and mean it.

Martie has blossomed into exactly who she was always meant to be. Like her namesake from The Chicks, she is elegance with a backbone - quietly confident, deeply expressive, and emotionally attuned. She may take a moment to warm up, but once she does, her affection is steady and sincere: soft head bumps, gentle purrs, and a calm presence that feels more like companionship than performance.
