Rescued from an El Monte colony before she could be condemned to a life outdoors, Nymphadora was originally slated for TNR until someone looked a little closer and realized that returning this kitten to the streets would constitute an act of breathtakingly poor judgment. We happily intervened, because while the wizarding world may have survived losing one Tonks, the rescue community had no intention of losing another.

Like her delightfully chaotic namesake, Nymphadora is equal parts fearless, lovable, and just eccentric enough to keep life interesting. Draped in a spectacular long-haired dilute calico coat that looks as though it was personally color-matched by a distracted witch, she has mastered the rare art of being both impossibly elegant and an absolute menace to feather wands. Every toy deserves immediate investigation. Every cardboard box is clearly hiding Dark magic. Every human she meets is a potential accomplice.

Fortunately, unlike the original Tonks, this Nymphadora has absolutely no objection to being called by her full name. In fact, she seems to carry it with the quiet confidence of someone who already knows she’s the most interesting creature in the room. She possesses the same warmth, loyalty, and infectious enthusiasm that made her namesake so beloved, wrapped up in an absurd quantity of luxurious floof and delivered with considerably fewer Death Eaters.
