Tortilla
This sweet little wisp of a kitten is TORTILLA.
We first met Tortilla back in October when we responded to a Good Samaritan’s message about a kitten she had found at Goodwill in Norwalk. How this adorable baby came to be there is anyone’s guess. While it is conceivable that she had stowed away in a bag of donations or had wandered far from home, we suspect based on her condition that she had been discarded like an inanimate object. Knowing that she was ill-equipped at just four months old to fend for herself in a heavily trafficked parked lot, the Good Sam scooped her up and started reaching out to rescues.
And boy are we delighted that we answered the call because Tortilla is an absolute joy. Living proof that one person’s trash is another person’s treasure, this confident, playful, and exceedingly affectionate girl wants to be at your side or in your lap AT ALL TIMES. Great with other cats (her BFF is shy boy Gumbo) and comfortable around dogs, she would also be content to be an only cat provided her caretakers are able to spend a lot of time giving her the attention she craves. This is not a kitten who hides under the bed when company comes over. Rather, she wants to be in the center of the action like a cherished member of the family.
Tortilla is vaccinated (rabies and FVRCP), microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative, spayed, and ready to dazzle and snuggle you today and everyday for the next 18ish years.
